  1. Day 1 Paro International Airport - Thimphu

    Following your arrival in Paro, head to Thimphu and rest of the day at leisure to explore the town.

    Overnight stay in Thimphu.

  2. Day 2 Thimphu

    After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing in Thimphu.

    Visit the The National Memorial Chorten, Sakyamuni Buddha, Changangkha Lhakhang, Takin Zoo, the National Library, Zorig Chusum and the Royal Textile Museum.

  3. Day 3 Thimphu - Punakha

    After breakfast, start for Punakha. The first stop on the way after leaving Thimphu is Dochu La Pass, which is around 3100 m high and way above the clouds. Only an hour’s drive from Thimphu, it offers visitors their first glimpse of the Eastern Himalayan range. From the pass the road curls its way down into the relative lowlands of the Punakha Valley.

    In Punakha , you will visit Punakha Dzong. Known as the ”the palace of great happiness”, it is located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu (father) and Mo Chhu (mother) rivers in the Punakha-Wangdue valley. The dzong is one of the most picturesque of all Bhutan’s ancient fortresses and is joined to the mainland by an arched wooden bridge, and contains many precious relics from the days when successive kings reined the kingdom from this valley.

    You will also visit the Suspension Bridge – the longest suspension bridge over River Mo.

  4. Day 4 Punakha - Phobjikha Valley

    After breakfast, proceed towards the Phobjikha Valley – the valley for rare endangered Black Necked Cranes. Soak in the beauty of the most beautiful valley and enjoy the serenity and tranquility and finally return to Punakha and en-route visit Bazo Town.

    After crossing the Fo-Chu-Mo-Chu river, drive along the Wangdue phradong and visit newly developed small beautiful town of Bazo in Wangdue.

  5. Day 5 Punakha - Paro

    In the morning, after breakfast, start for Paro, the picturesque town in Bhutan. Enroute visit Simtokha Dzong, National Museum of Bhutan, Ta Dzong, Rinpung Dzong, and Nya Mey Zam Bridge.

  6. Day 6 Paro

    In the morning, after breakfast, start for Paro sightseeing, which includes visit to Drukgyal Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang, and Taktsang Monastery.

    If you can brave the risky cliffs on a high mountain, Paro will astonish you in the form of Taktsang Monastery. After covering 1200 m on a fierce cliff, you will reach this sacred site, also known as the Tiger’s Nest. Take a deep breath after reaching the spot and then comfort your eyes and soul with the stunning view of the scenic surroundings and the valley lying underneath. Construction of the complex was completed in 1694. Discovering the Tiger’s Nest after 3 hours of trekking is real adventure but you may also opt for a horse ride from the parking lot.

  7. Day 7 Paro - Chela-La-Pass

    After breakfast, drive to Chele La Pass which is at a height of 3,988 m. From here, on a clear day, the view sweeps away to Bhutan’s second highest sacred peak, Mt Jhomolhari.

    After early breakfast, start for Paro International Airport [PBH].
